Bright Breaks has two key support roles that help challenges run smoothly: Advocates and Team Captains. Here’s how they differ:
✅ Advocate #
- Who they are: Assigned by a Champion to help run wellness challenges and quests
- What they can do:
- Create and launch challenges/quests
- Access promotional materials for challenges/quests
- Track participation via download of challenges/quests results
- Scope: Limited to the group they were assigned to (e.g. department, region, team)
- Ideal for: Distributing the workload and promoting wellness at a local level
🧢 Team Captain #
- Who they are: Participants in a Team Challenge who are identified as the leader of their team
- What they can do:
- (Optional) Help form their team if the challenge is set up with manual team assignment
- Motivate and organize their teammates
- Be highlighted on the leaderboard
- Scope: Only applies within their specific team for that one challenge
- Ideal for: Boosting motivation and accountability during team-based challenges
