Once your challenge or quest is published in Bright Breaks, it’s time to spread the word and track how things are going. This guide will help both Champions and Advocates promote their challenge and access participation data.
Promote Your Challenge or Quest #
Once you click Publish, a pop-up will appear with:
- A Canva template to help you create eye-catching visuals
- A set of dynamic promotional scripts personalized with the challenge details you provided
You can also access these promotional materials later by:
- Navigating to the Champion Portal > Challenges tab > My Challenges
- Clicking Promo on the challenge or quest tile (works whether it is a draft or published)
📢 Note: Bright Breaks does not send automated emails or messages to your organization about the challenge or quest. All promotion must be done manually.
Track Participation and View Results #
Leaderboard #
- To view current standings at any time, click Preview on your challenge tile
- Or, visit brightbreaks.com/challenges
Download Detailed Metrics #
Click Results on the challenge or quest tile to download a detailed .csv file.
Note that if you run a team challenge, we will provide you with two CSV files upon download — one with individual data and one with team data.
These exports includes data like:
- Challenge Start Date
- Challenge End Date
- Participant Name
- Participant Email
- Number of Breaks (or Steps) Taken
- Breaks Taken with a Teammate
- Total Points Earned
- Quest Progress
You can download this report at any point during or after the challenge.

- Track engagement trends
- Identify top participants
- Select winners (manually)
- Report on program success
